He was predeceased by: his wife Judith Logan Courtney; his parents, William Courtney and Phyllis Courtney (Kratchmar); and his brother Dennis J. Courtney. He is survived by: his daughter Tracy Truppa (Carmine) of Putnam. He is also survived by three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
