She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond H. Hickton; her parents, Clifford Doucette and Wilma Doucette; her son Randy E. Hickton; and her siblings, Dwight Doucette, Joyce Atwell and Paul Doucette.
She is survived by: her daughter Tami H. Rizner of Vernon; her granddaughter Staci Rizner of Columbia, SC.; her siblings, Nadine Skoglund of Vale, NC, BettyAnn Oppelt of Lincolnton, NC and Joseph Doucette; and her pet Gigi. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
