She was predeceased by: her parent Rambhai; her brother Narendra Amin; her spouse Ramesh Patel; her daughters, Aarti (Nimish Desai), Mamta (Rakesh Amin), Trupti (Ketan Patel) and Shraddha (Jitendra Patel); and her grandchildren, Matthew Miller, Ayan Desai, Minorvi Amin, Pooja Patel, Ghazal Amin, Maanav Desai and Anjali Patel. She is also survived by her many siblings, sibling-in-laws, and nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Project Prakash in her honor.
