It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Teresa M. (Oconnell) Benoit (Windsor, Connecticut), born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on February 20, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Leonard L. Benoit, Jr.; her parents, Thomas P. O'Connell and Elizabeth O'Connell (Frith); and her siblings, Patrick, Michael O'Connell, Eileen Guertin, Veronica Cote and Maureen Gallagher.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Zambrello (Phil) of Middletown, Carol Evans (Bill) of Tolland, Teresa Mounce (Charles) of Lake Wales, FL, Denise Gaines of Belmont, NH and Leonard L. Benoit III (Kim) of Sanford, NC; and her cousin Edward Frith. She is also survived by her caretaker for many years; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren, many beloved nieces and nephews.
