She is survived by: her friends, Colombian, Rice and Empanadas; her significant other Bernardo Alvarez; her children, Fabio Alvarez of Miami, FL, Patty Aresco (Carl) of Windsor, Bernard Alvarez (Vera) of West Simsbury and Alex Alvarez (Jessica) of Bolton; her grandchildren, Mark-Andrew Maher, Sara Maher, Nick Alvarez, Cody Wright, Zack Alvarez, Sami Aresco, Bella Alvarez and Alex Alvarez, Jr.; her siblings, Elsa Fuentes and Marco Suarez (Clara); her brother-in-law Hector Alvarez; her nephews, Juan Carlos Fuentes, Alvaro Mejia, Marc Frantz, Jorge Escobar and Javier Suarez; and her close friend Cristina Carrasquilla. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
