Santina Silva Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 30, 2022, at the age of 88, Santina Silva of Windsor, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ramon Alvarez Silva; her parents, Juan Crespo and Bernarda Medina of Crespo; and her children, Cesar Medina and Aida Spielman.
She is survived by: her children, Victoria Medina of Springfield, MA, Elias Medina of Hartford, Ana-Celida Torres (Thomas) of Deltona, FL, Margarita Morales (Alcides) of Deltona, FL, Ruben Medina of Windsor Locks and Miguel Alvarez-Crespo (Grisselle) of Windsor; and her siblings, Eulalia Cuevas, Ruben Crespo, Elida Mendez and Gabriel Crespo. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
They took care of her throughout the pandemic with the help of her daughter, Anna, and later had to make the painful decision to move her to a skilled nursing home where they could provide 24-hour skilled nursing care.
