We are sad to announce that on March 17, 2022, at the age of 75, Robert Francis Messina of Windsor, Connecticut, born in Glen Ridge, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank S. and Mary Messina (Pierro); his daughters, Heather Dlugolenski (Marc) of East Granby and Holly Soltys (Stephen) of Suffield; his grandsons, Robert of East Granby, Jason Dlugolenski of East Granby, Jude of Suffield and Jordan Soltys of Suffield; his sisters, Marilyn Mount (Robert) of Whippany, NJ and Faith Caggiano of Charlotte, NC; his sister-in-law Janice Lautier of Southington; his siblings, Gary F. Messina and Carol McGrath; and his brothers-in-law, Jack McGrath and Jack Lautier. He was also cherished by his family and friends.
The family has requested that memorial donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675-8516 or to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10306.
