He was predeceased by: his wife Irene Fonseca (Rice); his parents, John Fonseca and Maria Rose Fonseca (Pinto); and his sister Alice R. Dziedzinski. He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon I. Fonseca of Windsor and Susan I. Fonseca of Windsor. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
