He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorenzo Couvertier and Antonia Pizarro Couvertier; and his son Ricardo J. Couvertier. He is survived by: his wife Rosa Couvertier (Rosario); his daughters, Sylvia B. Couvertier of Mount Olive, NJ, Aixa Couvertier-Nesmith (Desi) of Windsor, Mayte Mari Couvertier of Colchester and Vanessa Mari Couvertier of Philadelphia, PA; his siblings, Angel Martoral of New Bedford, MA and Sylvia Couvertier of Wethersfield; and his grandchildren, Emily Albert, Noah Albert, Thomas German, Landon Von Plachecki, Alexandra G. Nesmith and Kimble J. Nesmith. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
