She was predeceased by: her husband Peter Kellogg Bassett; and her parents, Eugene Lamoureux and Anne Marie Lamoureux (Eisele). She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Bassett-Wooley of Coventry, Barbara Foreman (Phil) of Vernon and Elizabeth Hanville (Richard) of Cornelius, NC.; her grandchildren, Sydney Wooley, Samantha Foreman (Steve Capobianco), Joseph Wooley, Andrew Foremen, Jonathan Hanville, Sabrina Hanville, Sierra Wooley and J. P. Hanville; and her siblings, Eugene Lamoureux, Sr., Anne Marie Lamoureux, Cathy O'Day and Maryellen Wezowicz.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Connecticut Children's Medical Center.
