He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis D. Williams, Sr. and Ollie Mae Williams (Haywood); his former wife Beverly A. E. Williams; his daughter Luella Reed-Ward; his son-in-law David Edwards; his siblings, James Taylor and Marlene Carter; and his close friend Bingo.
He is survived by: his stepmother Susan Williams of Gainesville, FL; his children, Donnette Williams-Edwards of Windsor, Yolanda D. Williams of Hartford, Blaine Reed of Hartford, Cheryln D. Dillon (Thomas) of Bloomfield and Serena D. Williams of East Hartford; his grandchildren, Felicia S. Williams of Fort Myers, FL, D. Joaquin Williams, Sr. (Alecia) of Hartford, Michael D. Williams of Meriden, Tawanda Ward of East Windsor, Keisha Reed of Hartford, Tiffany Reed-Edison (Ronald) of Dacula, GA, Mareka S. Williams of Avon, Keisha R. Jones of Hartford, Chanda-Tai Easterling of East Hartford, Shayla B. Williams of Windsor, Erika Ward of Hartford and Michael Closs of East Hartford; and his sister-in-law Rosemarie Easterling of Hartford. He is also survived by 26 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren.
