She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Donald J Higgins; her parents, Vito Taricani and Rose Taricani (Urso); her siblings, Carol, Antoinette (Toni), Pasquale (Pat) and Anthony (Butch); her children, Patrick (Barbara Higgins), Rosie Courtney of Granby, Sean (Susan Higgins), Dana (James Fawcett) and Diane Higgins of Poquonock; her sister Diana Rittenhouse (Dee) of Pensacola, FL; her siblings-in-law, Norman Hausmann of Bloomfield and Jane Graml of Simsbury; and her children, James Fawcett IV, Caelyn Fawcett, Nora McGlynn, Connor McGlynn and Vanessa Fawcett. She was also cherished by her five children.
