He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Lumpkin and Betty Jane Lumpkin (Cole); and his brother Jeffrey Earl Lumpkin. He is survived by: his sisters, Lauren D. Lumpkin and Zaley A. Lumpkin of Windsor, CT; his nephews, Ondwell R. Lumpkin of College Park, GA, Brandon, Cole and Lance Ormsby of Windsor, CT; his niece Estelle T. Lumpkin of Chicago, IL; and his aunts, Carol McBride of Hartford, CT and Virginia "Dee Dee" Ferguson of Enfield, CT. He is also survived by 10 great-nieces and nephews and 7 great-great nieces and nephews.
