He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Clinton Polite, Sr. and Lillian Theresa Polite; his brother-in-law Silver Sargent (Silver Star); his cousin Dennis Rose; and his aunt Lucy Greene.
He is survived by: his cousin Thomas "Chuck" Goode; the mother of his child Gaea Ross of Bloomfield; his daughter Sunsirae Polite (Morning Star); his grandchildren, Isaiah Hellandbrand (Spirit Hawk) and Cheyenne Hellandbrand (Quiet Dove) of New Britain; his son Corey Edwards of New Britain; his great grandchild Kaylani Hellandbrand of New Britain; his siblings, Sandra Polite (Mighty Hawk) of Bloomfield, Janice Polite (Whispering Knowledge) of Bloomfield, Lawrence (Winter Hawk), Linda Polite-Sargent (Gentle Breeze) of Bloomfield and Cheryl Polite (Still Waters); his aunt Nellie Cohens Wright of Manchester; and his caregivers, Tanya Alves (Messenger Bird) and Brittany Silva. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
