Mercedes Talmadge Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mercedes Talmadge of Windsor, Connecticut, who passed away on August 23, 2022 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett and Anna Mei (Carboni); her significant other Ben; and her brother Ernest "Frog" Mei. She is survived by: her children, Wayne Talmadge (Truda) of Granby and Rosana Bannock (Fred) of Windsor; her grandchildren, Brandon Bannock (Celeste), Lindsey Talmadge Burrell (Ryan) and Jason Bannock (Jennifer); her great grandchildren, Reed Burrell, Trent Burrell, Olivia Bannock, Charles "Charlie" Bannock, Arthur "Archie" Bannock and Everett Bannock; her nieces, Maryanne Mei Sexton, Melissa Mei Holmes and Kimberly Grunert; and her close friend Braxton. She is also survived by many other relatives and dear friends.
She took a position as a Library Clerk at the Windsor Public Library and was a pillar in the community for over 32 years, retiring in 2020 when Covid hit us.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Windsor Public Library or the ASPCA.
