He is survived by: his wife Donna Jane Bonesteel; his sons, Timothy John Bonesteel of Windsor, Matthew John Bonesteel, Jr. of Windsor and Nathaneal Donald Bonesteel of Somers; and his siblings, Charlie Bonesteel of Florida, Nancy McKenzie of Tolland, James Bonesteel (Evelyn) of Florida and Tim Bonesteel (Lynn) of Somers. He is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews.
