It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie E. Metzler of Windsor, Connecticut, born in Bronx, New York, who passed away on April 27, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Bolella and Emily Bolella (Furrel); her husband George; her daughter Jane Metzler-Potz; her granddaughter Ana Metzler; and her siblings, Louis Bolella and Evelyn O'Mara.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Metzler-Kirkman, Kenneth Metzler (Betty) of Willington and Corinne Martin (Kevin) of Windsor; and her sister Arlene Banks of Long Island, NY. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
