Marie C. (Torsza) Despres Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie C. (Torsza) Despres (Windsor, Connecticut), who passed away on December 6, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Robert "Bob" Despres; and her parents, George Torsza and Mary Torsza (Rowe). She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Driscoll (Kevin) of South Windsor and Sandra Tronsky (Robert) of Stafford Springs; her brothers, John, William and Robert; and her grandchildren, Jacob Driscoll, Lauren Vivenzio (Erik), Paige Driscoll and Catheryne Tronsky.

Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ladd-Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home (551 Talcottville Rd, Vernon, CT 06066). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. Bernard Church (25 St Bernard's Terrace, Vernon, CT 06066).
