He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. and Gertrude Litter (Koffinke); his brothers, Donald P. Litter and Richard P. Litter; and his granddaughter Katie Foley.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Litter (Brooks); his children, Robert J. Litter of Lutherville Timonium, MD, John B. Litter of Enfield, Janet L. Foley of Marlborough, MA and Susan (Keith Jerwann) of Farmington; his grandchildren, Brian A. Foley, Rachel M. Foley (Guillermo Funes), Alexandra B. Litter (Troy Marin), Jordan Litter Gilbert (Peder) and Rowan J. Litter (Caitlin Guthlein); and his sisters-in-law, Dorothy A. Brooks of Windsor Locks and Lila D. Litter of Altamonte Springs, FL. He is also survived by several nieces and a nephew as well as cousins.
