It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim Henry McGhee of Windsor, Connecticut, who passed away on December 3, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Gene" McWilliams and Alice Mae McWilliams; his wife Joyce McGhee; his uncle Frank Thomas McGhee; his aunt Mattie Lee McGhee; and his grandmother Adell "Goodie" McGhee.
He is survived by: his close friend Doris Patterson of Hartford; his son Tyrone McGhee (Maria McGhee) of Manchester; his siblings, Easter Vincent, Dorothy Daly (Orlando), Arthur James McWilliams and Early McWilliams; and his nieces and nephews, Ana Daly, Kimberly Daly, Keanna Foy, Abyssinia Stevens, Gene Vincent of Miami, Florida. and Jacques "Junior" Major of Miami, Florida..
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Shiloh Baptist Church (350 Albany Ave, Hartford, CT 06120). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
