He was predeceased by: his father James T. Hunt; and his brother Timothy Hunt. He is survived by: his mother Mary Jane Hunt (Sandamena) of Windsor; his wife June Hunt (Silvestri); his children, Christina Guzman (Sean Kiernan) of Cleveland, Ohio and Bryan Morrison (Wayne) of Fulton, Maryland; his grandsons, Caleb and Christopher; his brother Gerald Hunt of Plainville; his sister-in-law Lynda Hunt of Manchester; and his close friends, Matt Tedone of Marlborough and William Bisson of Windsor. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
