He is survived by: his children, Lynn Jacobs (Roger) of Manchester, Michael McCauley (Kathleen) of Old Lyme, Alva and William McCauley (Lori) of Somers; and his grandchildren, Amanda Jacobs (Robert Jackman), James McCauley (Kathleen), Andrew McCauley, Daniel McCauley, Jason McCauley (Laura), Jeffrey McCauley (Anna), Loren Piotrowski (Mark) and William McCauley. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
