He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Mercey (Mayrand); his children, Ann Mercey of Enfield, Homer Mercey, III of Windsor, Donald Mercey of West Hartford, Ronald Mercey (Anna) of Windsor Locks, William Mercey of Ellington and Brian Mercey of Suffield; his daughter-in-law Gail Mercey of Tariffville; and his sister Marjorie Morris of Stafford Springs. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
