He is survived by: his wife Karen Pfeifer-Forand; his daughters, Lori Forand of Enfield and Lydia Forand of Ellington; his son-in-law Timothy Goetz (Rachel) of South Windsor; and his sisters, Henrietta Safranek of Bolton, Mary Abbruzzese of Vernon and April Krieski of Ellington. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
