She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Hallett and Shirley Hallett (Purnell); and her sister Sharon Carter. She is survived by: her husband Donald Deming; her brother Kenneth Hallett; her mother-in-law Muriel Deming; her brother-in-law Dean Carter; and her nieces, Jamie Green and Kim Carter.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Gale's memory may be made to the Helen and Harry Gray Cancer Center.
