She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellis Cobbs and Eunice Cobbs (Moody); and her sister Annie. She is survived by: her husband Venantius Thomas; her sons, Tyrrell Cobbs (Damita) and Jerrick Thomas; her siblings, Ellis, Keith Jr., Priscilla, Justine, Deborah, Marzella and Bernetta; and her friend Marcia Hughes. She is also survived by three grandchildren and her sister.
