He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Puryer and Dearrie Stovall; his friend James McConnel; his brothers, Donald and Daniel Andrews; his parents-in-law, John E. Rogers, Sr. and Oretta M. Rogers; and his siblings-in-law, John E. Rogers, Jr., Alfred R. Rogers and Enid Rogers.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Dwen Rogers; his daughters, Margaret "Meg" and Meryth "Deanie"; his grandsons, Edward Leland Williams, III and Christopher Douglas Williams "Chris"; his brother-in-law James Rogers (Lorrie); and his niece Donna Jean Andrews. He is also survived by nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
In place of flowers, the family would like donations sent to The Douglas Andrews Scholarship fund at Faith Congregational Church.
