Despina Tsanias Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Despina Tsanias of Windsor, Connecticut, who passed away on November 10, 2021, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Athanasios Hatzidiakou and Maria Hatzidiakou (Mintatos); her husband Emanuel Tsanias; her daughter Anastasia Merkouriou (Tsanias); her son-in-law Elias Merkouriou; and her granddaughter Desi Merkouriou.
She is survived by: her son Theodore Tsanias of Windsor; her granddaughter Tina Skelly (Jon Skelly) of Arizona; her great grandchildren, Alessandra and Daniela Skelly of Arizona; her niece Dimitria Diakoloukas; and her godson Loukas Diakoloukas. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
