He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Collins and Janie "Hannah" Beverly; his grandmother Phebbie Jenkins Harrell; his aunt Lizzie Wells; his wife Pamela; his uncle Sammy; his aunt Sallie Lee Beverly; and his cousin Mary Copeland.
He is survived by: his children, Dawn Jenkins (Jerry Eddington) and William Jenkins; his grandsons, Joshua Jenkins and Darryl Beaufort; his niece Yolanda Edwards; his siblings-in-law, Nanette Hutchins, Cheryl Bozeman, Barbara Edwards, Catherine Edwards, Carmen Edwards, Hermena Fider (Daniel) and Aaron Barksdale; his godchildren, Robert Edwards, Sabria Hardy and Blake Hardy; and his close friends, Rev. Herman "Chuck" Boyer Jr. of Niagara Falls, NY, Douglas Midder of South Hill, VA and Phillip Johnson of Bloomfield, CT.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
