With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Chester A. Jacobs (Windsor, Connecticut), born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on May 13, 2020 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Jacobs (Holt); his parents, John James and Nellie Jacobs (Johnson); his daughter Elizabeth Jacobs-Patterson; and his siblings, Edward, Frank, John, Vincent, George "Jackie" Jacobs, Pearl Jacobs-Lee, Nellie Carmen Clayton and Gladys Ladson.
He is survived by: his children, Chester "Archie" Jacobs, Jr. of Newington, Cheryl Sampson (Odell) of Bloomfield, Garry Weaver (Doris) of Windsor, Denise Jacobs of Bloomfield and Anthony Williams (Yulinda) of Uncasville; and his grandchildren, Giselle Jacobs of Hartford, Lynette Jacobs-Baisden (Christopher) of East Hartford and Gary Lewis (Shay) of Windsor. He is also survived by six other grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren; and host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
