With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catherine C. Eckert of Windsor, Connecticut, born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on October 7, 2022 at the age of 96. She was predeceased by: her husband William R. Eckert, Jr.; her parents, George Claffey and Margaret Claffey (Dooley); her son Geoffrey Eckert; and her siblings, Francis Claffey, Rosalie Mulcahy and Pauline McMahon.
She is survived by: her son William Eckert, III (Virginia) of Humble, TX; her brother Robert Claffey of East Hartford; her grandchildren, William Eckert, IV of Sherman Oaks, CA and Elizabeth Franks (James) of Sugar Land, TX; and her great grandchildren, Alex and Chelsea Franks. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
