Carolyn Brooks Litter Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carolyn Brooks Litter of Windsor, Connecticut, born in Hartford, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 30, 2024 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carroll and Marguerite Brooks (Endee); her husband Jack; her granddaughter Katie Foley; her brother Edward (Mary Brooks); and her brothers-in-law, Donald and Richard Litter.
She is survived by: her children, Robert J. Litter of Lutherville Timonium, MD, John B. Litter of Enfield, Janet L. Foley of Marlboro, MA and Susan (Keith Jerwann) of Farmington; her grandchildren, Brian A. Foley, Rachel M. Foley (Guillermo Funes), Alexandra B. Litter (Troy Marin), Jordan C. Gilbert (Peder) and Rowan J. Litter (Caitlin Guthlein); her sister Dorothy A. Brooks of Windsor Locks; and her sister-in-law Lila Devault Litter of Altamonte Springs, FL. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
