She was predeceased by: her spouse Francis W "Skip" McDermott; and her parents, Howard Mills and Catherine DeGray (Szepanski). She is survived by: her children, Edward McDermott of Naples, FL, Daniel McDermott (Kim) of Austin, TX, Theresa Nielson (Jeffrey) of East Granby and Tracy McDermott Worlund of East Granby; her grandchildren, Kyle, Lyricia, Taylor, Sean McDermott, George Grillo Jr., Nicole Grillo Blair, Brett Nielson, Jesse, Arne IV, Cassi Worlund, Brooklyn, Maci, Colton and Greyson; her sisters, Merlene Weiner, Catherine Jaronczyk, Patricia Smolenski and Beverly Petraska; her brothers-in-law, James McDermott and Thomas Arcari; and her pet Muffin. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
