Bessie R. Howe Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bessie R. Howe (Windsor, Connecticut), who passed away on February 19, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Bessie may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her sister Diane Roy. She is survived by: her husband Harmon C. Howe Jr.; her daughter Jennifer; her son-in-law Freddie Diaz of Vernon; her sisters, Donna Symonds (David) of Ellington and Janis Root of Somers; and her brother-in-law Raymond Roy of Manchester. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ladd-Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home (551 Talcottville Rd, Vernon, CT 06066). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Congregational Church of Vernon (695 Hartford Turnpike, Vernon, CT 06066).
