Hamel Sr. of Windsor, Connecticut, born in Sutton, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 12, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his wife Barbara J. Hamel (Wyer); his parents, Percy Hamel and Yvonne Hamel (Bouffard); and his brothers, Joseph Hamel and Roger Hamel.
He is survived by : his sons, Arthur J. "Skip" Hamel, Jr. (Joyce) of Windsor, Deacon Richard H. Hamel (Irene) of Harwinton and Christopher M. Hamel of Argyle, TX; his grandchildren, Rebecca Tiscia (Patrick) of Bristol, Jason Hamel of Torrington, Brian Hamel of East Hampton and Michele Hamel of Waltham, MA; his great grandchildren, Ellie and Jack; and his sister-in-law Helena Hamel of Meriden. He is also survived by other extended family and friends.
