He is survived by: his siblings, Stephanie Byrd, Crystal Patrice Byrd of Cromwell Ct, Clifton Phillip Byrd of Massachusetts and Kimberly Byrd of Hartford Ct; his daughters, Toya Ellis, Tiffany Watson, Tyshema Byrd-Eaddy and Tatiana Byrd-Gibson; his son-in-law Alan Gibson of Hartford, Connecticut; his grandchildren, Raven Hardy, Renita Morgan, Ricky Ellis Jr., Charles Hardy, Latoya Ellis, Roderick Eaddy Jr., Tayqaun Eaddy, Romelle Hardy, Tyshawn Eaddy, Janyi Byrd, Jevon Williams, Alon Gibson and Ash'Lynn Gibson; and his close friends, Gary Rakesteau and Leah Williams. He is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many more family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lodge 130 Deerfield Rd. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
He was recognized for his outstanding work ethic and contributions to the success of The City of Hartford.
