He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Matias and Deolinda Matias. He is survived by: his wife Maria Elisa Matias (Bernardino); his son Armando Matias (Rosa) of Windsor; his granddaughters, Sonia Butler (Sean) and Catia Matias; and his great grandchild Alexander "Xander" Butler.
