She is survived by: her parents, Aurelio S. "Alberto" and Marianne Higuera of Somers, CT; her brother Alberto Miguel Higuera (Mary) of Burlington, CT; her children, James McGowan (Carolyn) of Enfield, CT and McKenzie Kryla (Konrad) of Enfield, CT.; and her granddaughter Sophia McGowan of Enfield.
