It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alcira Carrasquilla of Windsor, Connecticut, who passed away on October 18, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Anthony Carrasquilla; and her sister Blanca Sanchez. She is survived by: her children, Janet Vakalis (David), Patricia Murphy (Michael) and William Carrasquilla; her grandchildren, David Vakalis, Ashley Niblett (Justin), Krystal Gardner (Nick), Jennifer Murphy, Kimberly Murphy, Michelle Halverson (Paul), Caitlin Murphy Koziel (Paul), Mallory Carrasquilla, Andrew Vakalis (Sophie), Megan Murphy Officer (Christian), William Anthony Carrasquilla and Jack Murphy; her great grandchildren, James, Emmie, Nolan Niblett, Olivia Gardner and Jayden Tatum; and her pet Bentley.
