He was predeceased by: his parents, James Harris and Minnie Harris; his wife Loveness McCray Harris; and his siblings, Fred Lee Whitlock, Annie Mae Whitlock, William Harris, Leslie Harris, Lucille Taylor, Clara Harris King and Ruby Harris.
He is survived by: his stepsons, George Dillion (Linda) of Hartford and Alvin 'Wayne McCray; his brother Otis W. Wade; his sister-in-law Quinell "Quinn" Wade; his grandchildren, George Dillion, III, Evelyn Monique Dillon, Daisha Dillon, Kieasha Shepard and Waynette Shepard; and his friends, Jacqueline Walton and Wayne.
