Susan M. Benaitis Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan M. Benaitis of Windsor Locks, Connecticut, who passed away on December 12, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Susan may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Susan touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her father John Kokofski, Sr.. She is survived by: her husband Nap Benaitis; her daughter Rebecca (Clay Coulbourne) of Virginia; her grandchildren, Mia and Callum; her brother John (Diane Kokofski, Jr.) of Windsor Locks, CT; her niece Heather; her friend Margarita Correa; and also Phyllis Kokofski of Windsor Locks, CT. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home (441 Spring St, Windsor Locks, CT 06096). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Robert Bellarmine Church (52 S Elm St, Windsor Locks, CT 06096).
