He is survived by: his children, Christine Staron (Edward) of Windsor Locks, CT, Richard Hopkins Jr. (Atiya) of Fulshear, TX, Colleen Hopkins (Jeanne Oliva) of Bristol, RI and Mark Hopkins (Amy) of Naples, ME.; his grandchildren, Richard Hopkins III, Cassaundra Hopkins, Lillian Lewis (Sheldon), Mark Hopkins Jr., Grace Banks and Joseph Banks; and his great grandchild Silas Lewis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home (441 Spring St, Windsor Locks, CT 06096). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Robert Bellarmine Church (52 S Elm St, Windsor Locks, CT 06096). A burial was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery (1390 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001).
