He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Valente (Baird); his parents, Frank Valente and Madeline Valente (Bini); his siblings, Richard, Frank Valente, Marie LaPenta, Patricia Valente and Claire Cetola; his grandson John Sussina; and his son-in-law William Sussina.
He is survived by: his children, Ken Valente (Mary), Susan Sussina and Thomas Valente (Susan); his grandchildren, Erin Omicioli (Bryan), Katherine Valente, Brianna Anderson (George), Sarah West-Paley (Jim) and Stephanie Sussina (Nick); and his great grandchildren, William, Elijah, Luciana, Jackson, Oliver and Lucca. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
