She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Shirmer and Ruth Shirmer (Ditzel). She is survived by: her husband Richard Taravella; her children, Daniel Taravella (Sarah) of Hadley, MA and Jennifer Altshuler (Matthew) of Windsor Locks; and her grandchildren, Michaela Bedard (Bradley), Brennan Altshuler, William and Owen Taravella. She is also survived by granddogs.

Donations in Judy's memory may be made to the American Lung Association.
