We bid farewell to John I. Samsvick of Windsor Locks, Connecticut, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 4, 2024 at the age of 98. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Samusevich and Efrosina Samusevich (Lutzevich); his wife Eileen Mary Samsvick (Golden); and his siblings, Luba Shebatin, Lena Qurici and Rev. Michael Samsvick.
He is survived by: his children, Priscilla Baldock (David) of Cashmere, WA, Timothy Samsvick of Windsor Locks, Rebecca Keller (Stephen) of Wethersfield and Elizabeth Isaac (Gordon) of Wenham, MA; and his nephews, Dean M. Samsvick of Anaheim, CA, Gerald C. Molkenthin and Steven P. Molkenthin. He is also survived by six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, other extended family and dear friends.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Windsor Locks Congregational Church (8 Main St, Windsor Locks, CT 06096).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Windsor Locks Congregational Church.
