With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan M. Hopkins in Windsor Locks, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 15, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Claffey and Margaret Claffey; and her sisters, Margaret Dailey and Eleanor Regan. She is survived by: her husband Richard "Dick" Hopkins; her children, Christine Staron (Edward) of Windsor Locks, CT, Richard Hopkins Jr. (Atiya) of Fulshear, TX, Colleen Hopkins (Jeanne Oliva) of Bristol, RI and Mark Hopkins (Amy) of Naples, ME.; her grandchildren, Richard Hopkins III, Cassaundra Hopkins, Lillian Lewis (Sheldon), Mark Hopkins Jr., Grace Banks and Joseph Banks; her great grandchild Silas Lewis; and her sisters, Patricia Kiley of Marshfield, MA and Frances Connolly of Laconia, NH. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
