He was predeceased by: his parents, Hardy H. Thompson Sr. and Thelma Louise Thompson (Estell); and his siblings, Mark Thompson and Susan Jimenez. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Thompson (Wall); his pet Daisy; his children, Kimberly Ann Crispina of Enfield and Wayne Anthony Thompson (Andrea Mercier Damato) of East Granby, Connecticut.; and his stepchildren, Brian True (Ann) of Windsor, Kimberly Ann Joseph (Mark) of East Berlin and Elizabeth Selig (Fred Lukens) of Rocky Hill. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews.
