We are sad to announce that on September 6, 2019, at the age of 90, Genevieve D. Makowski (Windsor Locks, Connecticut), born in Hartford, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel DeLuke and Rose DeLuke (Sinisgalli); and her sister Antoinette Mazza. She is survived by: her husband Leo; her children, Leo J. Makowski (Laurie) of Windsor Locks, Rosanne C. Makowski of Windsor Locks and Michael R. Makowski (Jessica) of Winder, GA; her grandchildren, Leo, II, Lauren, Michael, Jr., Stephanie, Jonathan and Kyleigh; her sister Mary D'Agata; and her close friend Lexie. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Genevieve may be to The Dementia Society of America, http://www.dementiasociety.org.
