We bid farewell to Gail Handley of Windsor Locks, Connecticut, born in Hartford, Connecticut, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 4, 2025 at the age of 86. Gail touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As Gail departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Gail. Though Gail may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Tautic and Helen Tautic (Pasha). She is survived by: her children, Paul Handley (Debi) of Palm Coast, FL and Susan Hunt (Robert) of Enfield; and her grandchildren, Cristin Handley, Alicia Lacasse, Katherine Hunt and Robert Hunt, III. She is also survived by her 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carmon Funeral Home (807 Bloomfield Ave, Windsor, CT 06095). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Damien of Molokai Parish - St. Gabriel (379 Broad St, Windsor, CT 06095). A burial was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Windsor Veterans Memorial Cemetery East St (122 East St, Windsor, CT 06095).
