He is survived by: his close friend Christin Smigielski; his father Peter Burby; his stepmother Denise Burby of Springfield, MA; his children, Ethan Burby of Enfield and Aria Burby of Enfield; his siblings, Justin Burby and Jessica Burby of Springfield; and his grandmothers, Diana Burby and Nancy Unitis.
